Location: Thomasville Road Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida Team: Worship & Arts Employment Type: Full-Time We’re looking for a Worship Pastor who doesn’t just lead songs but leads people. Someone who’s passionate about making disciples and creating space for others to respond to the goodness of God. If you love Jesus, love people, and love crafting worship environments that are both excellent and Spirit-led, we’d love to talk to you. What You’ll Get To Do Lead worship at weekend gatherings, ministry events, and special services Disciple and develop worship leaders, musicians, and creatives. This is about building people, not just platforms Work in partnership with our staff and volunteers to plan services that point people to Jesus Champion a culture of worship across all ministries, not just on stage, but in everyday lives Shepherd the worship arts team spiritually and relationally, helping them grow in character and craft Oversee the musical and technical excellence of services (think: rehearsals, song selection, arrangements, and working closely with production) Model servant leadership and a humble heart, whether you're on stage or stacking chairs Who You Are A devoted follower of Jesus who’s living out the biblical qualifications of a leader (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1) A worshiper first: your love for Jesus shows off the stage more than it does on it A strong vocalist and skilled musician (guitar or piano preferred) A developer of people: you see potential in others and love helping them grow Comfortable leading in a medium to large church setting, but even more comfortable behind the scenes Someone who values team, accountability, and authenticity Not afraid of feedback, collaboration, or hard conversations; you pursue truth in love Familiar with (or excited to learn) tools like Ableton, Planning Center, and ProPresenter Bonus Points If You Have experience raising up and multiplying worship leaders Are a songwriter or arranger Can handle a spontaneous setlist shift with grace (and a smile) About Us Thomasville Road Baptist Church is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic local church in Tallahassee, Florida committed to our mission of “Helping people find and follow Jesus.” We believe worship is more than music.
