Job Description

The HT Group is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative in a warehouse , for our client in Beaumont. This is an  open-ended assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position once an opening becomes available on their team . The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with overtime as needed. Pay is $15-$17hr DOE.
Candidates will be  required to complete skills testing, including Microsoft Excel and Word assessments, which must be taken on a computer.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle phone calls and respond promptly to customer and supplier inquiries
  • Use software to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
  • Verify shipments, document discrepancies, and notify customers of issues
  • Process shipping orders, create work orders and bills of lading, and coordinate shipments with supervisors and carriers
  • Enter and balance shipping/receiving data daily, generate inventory reports, prepare monthly invoices, and send to accounts receivable
  • Identify and report work outside of customer contract to support correct invoicing
  • Manage compliance data and participate in annual inventory counts
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and report any issues to management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Equivalent experience in customer service and admin; education may include two years of college, an Associate, or other degree
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, ( testing required ) and other office equipment (computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, telephones)
  • Accurately perform basic calculations and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Maintain positive professional relationships while effectively handling deadline pressure and meeting production goals
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance and complete full shifts reliably
Dress Code: Business casual — long pants or capris (below the knee); jeans allowed if free of rips or holes. Sandals permitted with a low heel and foot strap (no flip-flops). No sundresses, sleeveless tops, or exposed midsections.
